To disable a monitored drive, right click on My Computer and select Properties - System Restore tab, click on the monitored drive to be disabled and click Settings.

Put a check next to ‘Turn off System Restore on this drive’ then click OK and OK. |

|
The result will look like this (below).
Note: The drive/partitoin that Windows is installed on can not have monitoring stopped until monitoring is stopped on all other drives/partitions. The exception to this is if ‘Turn off System Restore on all drive’ is first checked. |
